An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Procurement Specialist to join a leading service organisation, playing a key role in the transformation and modernisation of procurement processes. This role offers a chance to drive strategic procurement decisions, negotiate with suppliers, and contribute to delivering value for money outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development, implementation, and management of procurement agreements for diverse services.
- Engage with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and provide strategic advice.
- Negotiate with suppliers/vendors to ensure best pricing and value for goods and services.
- Lead the RFP/RFI process, including drafting documents, evaluating submissions, and managing contract deliverables.
- Monitor and report on contract performance, identifying financial issues and negotiating outcomes.
- Provide expert advice to senior management, influencing strategic decisions related to contract services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement contract improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with privacy, data security, and fraud prevention policies.
Key Requirements:
- Solid experience in supplier engagement and contract management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to resolve complex procurement challenges.
- Proven ability to lead teams and motivate staff to achieve procurement objectives.
- Experience in negotiating and managing supplier relationships to secure the best value.
- Expertise in managing contracts with external service providers and ensuring currency of contract documentation.
- Desirable: Legal contract review experience.
Qualifications:
- Relevant experience in procurement and contract administration.
- Experience in legal contract review is desirable but not essential.
