Key Responsibilities
Collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders to align objectives and ensure effective procurement outcomes.
Leading negotiation efforts across diverse tenders, including high-value and high-risk procurements.
Developing and nurturing strong supplier relationships, while helping both current and new suppliers establish mutually beneficial partnerships with the organisation.
Promoting the internal profile of procurement within the organisation, proactively collaborating with stakeholders on sourcing and contract management to ensure successful project delivery.
Analyzing and reporting on supplier performance, spend, supply chain risks, and contracts management to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
What You Will Need to Apply:
A minimum of 5 years of strategic procurement experience, ideally in the public sector or a complex commercial organisation.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in procurement, supply chain management, contract management, or a similar field.
CIPS certification (or in progress) is highly desirable.
A strong customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering tailored solutions to both internal stakeholders and the wider community.
Proven understanding of the legal and commercial aspects of contracts.
Ability to start on short notice, with preference given to candidates open to contract-based work.
A growth mindset and a passion for making a positive impact within the community, fostering strong relationships, and empowering others.
