About the role:
... - Lead and manage the supply chain and procurement activities with 2 direct reports
- Develop and implement strategies to streamline supply chain and procurement processes, enhancing efficiency and reducing costs.
- Oversee inventory management, ensuring optimal levels and Just-In-Time (JIT) delivery to meet production needs.
- Drive system transformation to MS Dynamics, ensuring a smooth transition and full integration across all relevant functions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating favourable terms and ensuring timely delivery of materials.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
About you:
- Proven experience in a supply chain and procurement management role within the manufacturing industry.
- Experience with MS Dynamics or similar ERP systems, with a track record of successful system transformations.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, JIT principles, and procurement best practices.
- Strong problem solving skills and commercial acumen
- Tertiary qualification in supply chain, logistics, commerce or similar discipline
