The primary purpose of the Procurement Advisor is to conduct strategic and operational procurement activities, including driving compliance of procurement policies, lead day to day procurement operations service needs and delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice on procurement approaches, policies, and governance.
- Support internal stakeholders with strategic guidance to achieve procurement outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, legislation, and financial frameworks.
- Lead procurement planning, evaluation, negotiation, and contract drafting.
- Contribute to procurement-related projects (process improvements, cost-saving, system enhancements).
- Lead procurement in either ICT or Goods and Sevices Category
About you:
- Relevant degree in procurement, supply chain, or related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in procurement systems and reporting tools.
- Experience in public sector procurement.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building abilities.
