Randstad Digital is looking for a Process Analyst to join a highly regarded organisation in Queensland on a permanent basis. This role is responsible for the mapping of critical processes and procedures across the complex organisation, as well as identifying and documenting business processes by working with stakeholders across the business to input, review and sign off on processes. This role is based in Brisbane’s inner west suburbs.
Responsibilities:
- Coach: Work with the Senior team members and manager to coach stakeholders to consistently develop process flows. Support a collaborative and supportive team culture.
- Process mapping: Support the development of a consistent and efficient way of mapping processes, storing processes and updating processes across the organisation. Identify and flag interdependencies between functions and divisions to the manager.
- Process optimisation: Support the Identification of inefficiencies or bottlenecks that may exist between functions and propose remedial paths forward and flag with your manager. Drive with your manager process improvements that align with overall business objectives.
- Obligations and Controls: Work with Risk and Compliance colleagues to identify obligations associated with process steps and document corresponding controls.
- Stakeholder Management: Interacts frequently with Managers, SMEs, across the business, to obtain input, provide status updates and provides feedback to manager to drive conversations regarding process improvements.
- Project Management: Contributes to the development of timelines of processing mapping milestones that includes prioritisation and resourcing, and manages against a project plan.
Necessary Skills:
- A minimum of 3 years experience in process mapping, process improvement or business analysis field.
- Intermediate knowledge of BIC (process mapping tool). Although strong experience with Visio or Lucid Charts would be considered.
- Team focused attitude, ability to learn new systems quickly, experience of working to deadlines in a change driven environment and the ability to work autonomously while maintaining focus.
- Knowledge of operational risk management, linkages between obligations and mapping controls. Experience of working within a 3 LoD model and understanding the interdependencies from a business process perspective.
- Preferred. A Bachelor’s degree in a business / commerce / technology related field.
- Preferred. An understanding of the General Insurance industry.
