As the Principal Maritime Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning and delivery of key capital works projects, primarily focused on maritime and civil infrastructure. You will ensure the efficient management of assets through the implementation of best-practice asset management frameworks, including ISO55001. Your role will involve leading sustainability initiatives and working closely with stakeholders to deliver engineering solutions that meet operational and environmental objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the capital works program and delivering high-quality maritime infrastructure projects.
- Supporting operations and maintenance planning to optimise asset performance.
- Developing and maintaining an asset management framework, ensuring compliance with industry standards such as ISO55001.
- Managing condition appraisals, investment cost profiling, and gap analysis for continuous improvement.
- Overseeing sustainability strategies and environmental planning, ensuring all projects align with green practices.
- Collaborating with consultants and multidisciplinary teams to deliver key engineering initiatives.
- Managing budgets and prioritising projects for the 25/26 capital works program.
- Reporting directly to the CEO and contributing to strategic decision-making as a member of the Senior Management Team.
