This Principal Learning and Development Officer role is a great opportunity to work closely with business leaders to develop and implement solutions and capabilities, to build and retain a positive culture that values inclusion and diversity. You will work collaboratively with other corporate teams to explore and implement innovative people initiatives and systems.
Your role:
... - Create and implement contemporary, innovative and effective solutions and programs that respond to
business challenges and address critical learning and development and capability issues. - Lead and support a range of programs and initiatives in learning and development.
- Design, implement and maintain structured, evidence-based approaches to learning and development.
- Design and deliver development programs to build leadership and people management capability.
- Facilitate internal communication strategies including use of online medium, workshops,
presentations and/or training as required to support the implementation of learning and development
initiatives and related tools. - Build strong relationships to effectively manage, implement and review significant or
complex learning and development projects and initiatives.
About you:
- Demonstrated ability to develop a broad range of learning and development or organisation
development programs and initiatives. - Demonstrated experience with learning management systems and optimising use of technology
in learning and development. - Demonstrated proven analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills including the ability to
negotiate, respond promptly and authoritatively within short timeframes, influence stakeholders and
manage staff/consultants to achieve project outcomes. - Demonstrated superior communication and engagement skills, and the ability to speak with
confidence in all face-to-face communications. - Demonstrated ability to work at pace, managing multiple projects, processes and stakeholders
and proactively identify potential solutions, challenges and actions early.
