Role Overview:
Currentlyseeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher to join our enthusiastic team of educators. This role involves teaching students in the primary years, fostering their academic development and personal growth through engaging and innovative teaching practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in accordance with the Australian Curriculum and the college’s educational objectives.
- Create a positive and supportive classroom environment where students feel motivated and inspired to learn.
- Differentiate instruction to cater to the diverse learning needs and abilities of students, ensuring all students are supported in reaching their full potential.
- Implement effective assessment strategies to monitor student progress and provide timely feedback to students and parents.
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the development of curriculum resources and participate in professional learning communities.
- Engage actively in the life of the school community, including involvement in school events, extracurricular activities, and pastoral care initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Tertiary qualifications in Education (Bachelor’s degree or higher) with primary teaching specialization.
- Current registration with the New South Wales Education Standards Authority (NESA), or eligibility for registration.
- Demonstrated experience teaching primary students, with a sound understanding of primary education pedagogy and curriculum requirements.
- Passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment where students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
