We are currently seeking experienced Pipe Layers and Civil Labourers to join a large and ongoing civil construction project in Erskine Park. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a dynamic team working on a major project that will run for 3+ months with the potential for further work.
Positions Available:
- Pipe Layer
- Civil Labourer
Key Responsibilities:
- Pipe Layer:
- Installation, alignment, and maintenance of underground pipes and associated systems.
- Preparing trenches, laying pipes, and backfilling.
- Ensuring work complies with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Civil Labourer:
- Assisting with trenching, pipe installation, and backfilling operations.
- Manual handling of materials, tools, and equipment.
- Assisting the site supervisor and tradesmen with various tasks as required.
- Keeping the work area clean and safe.
About You:
Experience:
- Proven experience in pipe laying or general labouring in civil construction, particularly on pipe projects.
- Knowledge of underground utilities and civil construction techniques.
Skills:
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Strong understanding of safety standards and ability to work safely.
Physical Fitness:
- The role involves physical labour, so physical fitness and stamina are essential.
Desirable:
- White Card (mandatory).
- Any other civil plant tickets are an advantage.
