As the Philanthropy Manager you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and partners within the Canberra community. You will work collaboratively with multiple departments to achieve the not for profits goals. This is including but not limited to; coordinating and supporting grant tenders, grant allocation and management; marketing and events, brand development and business\partnership engagement.
... In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop on current and build new partnerships, whilst increasing community awareness and stakeholder collaboration. You will promote the organisations mission and develop strategies to retain\increase members and philanthropic partners, through varied means of marketing and communications.
To be successful you will demonstrate:
- Business development and partnership management skills
- Outstanding written and verbal communication, including public speaking and stakeholder presentations
- High level of community awareness and appreciation charitable goals
- Experience in budgeting and grants management
- Competency in use of MS Suite and various CRMS
Highly regarded:
- 3+ years experience in a similar BD role or in the not for profit sector
- Experience in veterinary, animal science, or similar
