Key Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and assess an engaging Performing Arts curriculum aligned with the Victorian Curriculum.
- Teach Music, Drama, and Dance to students across all year levels.
- Organise school performances, including concerts, assemblies, and productions.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate the arts into the broader school program.
- Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment where every student can thrive.
- Manage resources and equipment for the Performing Arts program.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or equivalent with a specialisation in Performing Arts, Music, or Drama.
- Current VIT registration (or eligibility to obtain).
- Experience teaching Performing Arts in primary schools is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of the Victorian Curriculum.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for creativity and innovation in education.
