Key Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and assess an engaging Performing Arts curriculum aligned with the Victorian Curriculum.
• Teach Music, Drama, and Dance to students across all year levels.
• Organise school performances, including concerts, assemblies, and productions.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate the arts into the broader school program.
• Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment where every student can thrive.
• Manage resources and equipment for the Performing Arts program.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or equivalent with a specialisation in Performing Arts, Music, or Drama.
• Current VIT registration (or eligibility to obtain).
• Experience teaching Performing Arts in primary schools is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of the Victorian Curriculum.
• Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for creativity and innovation in education.
