About the Role:
On behalf of a key client in the education sector, we are seeking a skilled and experienced HRIS System Technical Lead to provide specialist application support for our People & Culture Systems, including payroll. You will be responsible for all aspects of requirements analysis, design, build and configuration, testing, reporting, release management, and ongoing maintenance. As the payroll system product owner, you will specialise in the maintenance and management of this critical system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the configuration and technical design of HR Systems, including upgrades, and ongoing support and maintenance.
- Lead technical troubleshooting of HCM system issues through to resolution while managing vendor and stakeholder expectations.
- Engage with stakeholders to implement business process and systems architecture requirements.
- Provide recommendations and advice on matters relating to the management, compliance, and audit of P&C Systems.
- Provide subject matter expertise, advice, and support to other System subject matter experts.
- Work closely with IT and system users to ensure system performance meets expectations.
- Contribute to the review of IT and P&C procedures and documentation.
- Provide recommendations and advice on P&C Systems management, compliance, and audit.
Key Skills
- Knowledge/training equivalent to postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience or extensive management experience and expertise.
- Experience designing and supporting third-party HR/payroll system integration's.
- High level of interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and multiple projects.
- Experience in Oracle simple query language.
- Excellent relationship management and consulting skills.
- Previous experience in AscenderPay or similar payroll solutions
Desirable:
- Project management skills.
- Experience in HR/Payroll Systems including AscenderPay, PageUp, Oracle HCM.
