As a Payroll Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of their payroll function, ensuring smooth and accurate payroll processing. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the payroll team, providing leadership, guidance, and support to deliver on key payroll functions for their growing workforce. You will collaborate with HR and finance to ensure compliance, reporting, and continuous improvement in payroll operations.
With a clear succession plan in place, they are looking for someone with the vision and ambition to transition into the Payroll Manager role within 18-24 months. As Payroll Manager, you will lead the department, drive strategic payroll initiatives, and contribute to wider business goals.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation, including superannuation and taxation.
- Exceptional organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
- Experience with payroll systems and a passion for process improvement and automation.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
