New 12 month fixed term contract opportunity, suited to candidates who are immediately available or on a short notice period who has experience with end to end payroll processing.
This 12 month FTC role is based in Sydney CBD (close to public transport) and is offering $80,000 - $85,000 + super depending on experience. Hybrid working is offered, 4 days in the office and 1 day from home.
About the role:
This payroll specialist role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Payroll officer with approx 2-3+ years experience. You will be reporting into an experienced payroll manager and also be supported by the wider payroll team. This role sits within the HR function but will also collaborate closely with the finance team.
You will be assisting with the processing of weekly, fortnightly & monthly payroll using ADP, SAP & UKG. Experience with these systems would be advantageous but not essential for the role.
Key Responsibilities:
- End to end payroll processing for weekly, fortnightly and monthly staff members.
- Maintenance of payroll systems including SAP, ADP & UKG.
- Perform payroll administration and maintain the payroll system with up to date employee records.
- Setting up new hires, status adjustments, answering general payroll queries.
- Keep up to date with local legislation, awards, enterprise agreements, etc.
- Assist with any payroll projects or ad hoc tasks
About you:
- Preferably have worked payroll for 2-3+ years, processing end to end payroll.
- Outsourced ADP exposure would be beneficial but not essential.
- Experience with SAP & UKG would be a bonus.
- Ability to interpret awards and legislation.
- Experience completing a range of payroll courses would be an advantage.
