About the role:
As a Payroll Officer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth payroll operations and compliance for a multi-site organization. Responsibilities include:
- Processing payroll, maintaining accurate employee records, and addressing pay-related inquiries.
- Assisting with superannuation payments and ensuring legislative compliance.
- Improving payroll systems, managing rosters, and providing training on payroll software.
- Supporting reporting, business planning, and policy development within the payroll function.
What we’re looking for:
- 2–3 years of experience in a computerized payroll environment, ideally in a large organization.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset.
- Chris 21 is a plus
