Key Duties:
- Payroll Processing: Perform general payroll functions to establish and maintain accurate staff records using SAP.
- Entitlement Assessment: Evaluate entitlements and conditions of service against eligibility criteria per legislation, policy, and enterprise agreements.
- Advisory Role: Provide advice and respond to enquiries regarding entitlements and conditions of service.
- Record Maintenance: Maintain appropriate records and file documents in line with record management protocols.
- Process Improvement: Contribute ideas to improve procedures in the work area.
- Payment Investigations: Investigate and calculate salary overpayments and underpayments, arrange recovery of minor overpayments, or refer as necessary.
- Legislative Knowledge: Keep up-to-date with payroll-related legislation, policy, and enterprise agreements.
- Escalation: Prepare and escalate pay processing tasks requiring senior officer action or delegate approval.
- System Testing: Assist with User Acceptance Testing for system enhancements and updates.
