- Administer the payroll processing for more than 70 permanent employees and occasional casuals on a weekly basis
- Ensuring the accurate and timely adjustment and processing of salary sacrifices, annual leave, personal leave, and long service leave entitlements, while maintaining precise records of employee balances and send reports if requested.
- Responsible for preparing and posting wage journals, creating detailed variance reports that compare previous and current pay periods, and assisting employees with any payroll-related queries.
- Handling monthly payments for superannuation, PAYG, and payroll tax, ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements.

This is a newly-created permanent role due to the planned expansion of the organisation. You will report to the Finance Manager.
Skills & requirements for the role
To succeed in this role, you must come equipped with a minimum 3 years of end-to-end payroll experience. Good Excel skills are a must, and expertise with timesheet and leave systems is critical as well. This role would be well-suited for somebody with a “can-do” attitude and genuinely wants to make a difference in improving processes and systems. You should be well-organized, meticulous, and good in problem solving.
