Officer to provide end-to-end payroll for approximately 250 employees. Payroll is run on a fortnightly basis. You will ensure superior internal customer service by responding to payroll related queries and effectively process corrections. In addition, you may assist with setting up new and maintaining existing employee records. You will also be responsible for system management and maintenance, monitoring accurate payments to the staff, interpreting awards and agreements to facilitate accurate payroll delivery.
about the manager / team
This role reports directly to the General Manager of Corporate Services. The incumbent payroll officer is fairly junior in the role and you will need to coach the current payroll officer and get them up to speed.
skills & requirements for the role
The ideal incumbent must come with minimum 5 years' payroll experience with payroll skills and award interpretation knowledge. Working experience within the aged care sector is a must.
