Randstad is working on an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Payroll Manager to join an established global organisation and lead a strong and experienced payroll team of 3.
You will report to the HR Manager and support the wider business. You will drive success in the payroll department and lead / contribute to payroll related projects, especially around building strong internal relationships and leading the team.
This role is located in Sydney CBD and offers hybrid working from the office and home. Salary offering $120,000 - $130,000 + super. Initially will start as 12 month fixed term contract.
Key responsibilities of the role:
- Manage fortnightly payroll for employees across Australia and New Zealand.
- Lead and support the payroll team.
- Assist with salary calculations / wage in creases, amendments, terminations, WC, etc.
- Ensure compliance across the payroll department and stay up to date with local and relevant legislation.
- Assist with month and year end reporting and processes.
- Liaise with finance on all reconciliation activities
- Manage all payroll related questions and escalations.
- Design, drive and perform operational analysis of business processes.
Desired skills & experience:
- Ideally have at least 2-3+ years Management experience
- Preferably worked with the SAP system and ADP but this is not essential
- Ideally has worked across ANZ payroll
- Ability to build strong internal and external relationships
