They are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to join their growing team on a full-time and permanent basis and manage their small - but growing - payroll team.

About the role:
Reporting directly into the Chief Financial Officer the Payroll Manager is responsible for managing day-to-day payroll operations along with the leadership of the payroll team. Your key duties will include:
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees
- Stay updated with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements
- Prepare and submit payroll-related reports as required
- Oversee payroll software/systems implementation and upgrades
- Collaborate with IT or external vendors to resolve payroll system issues
- Conduct periodic audits of payroll records to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Implement and maintain internal controls related to payroll processes
- Supervise and mentor payroll staff
- Provide training and guidance to payroll team members
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment
About you:
- 10+ of experience in payroll along with solid and demonstrated experience in managing a team
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and highly developed leadership skills
- Full and unlimited Australian working rights
- Experience with Chris21 or iChris is desirable (however, not essential)
