We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst to play a pivotal role in the delivery of a large-scale, multi-country payroll transformation project. Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, validate, and document detailed payroll-related business requirements.

• Analyse current payroll processes to identify improvement or automation opportunities.

• Oversee the configuration and integration of a new payroll system aligned with business needs.

• Translate functional requirements into detailed specifications and solution designs.

• Liaise across business, technical, and vendor teams to maintain clear communication and alignment.

• Lead test planning and execution including unit, integration, UAT and parallel testing.

• Provide change management support and coordinate end-user training.

• Manage hypercare support, ensuring a smooth transition and system performance post-go-live.

• Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and security standards.

• Contribute to project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring.

About You

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst, including at least 2 years in payroll implementation.

• Strong knowledge of payroll systems and multi-country payroll operations.

• Demonstrated experience with vendor selection and RFP processes.

• Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities with ease.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with high attention to detail.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

• Technically proficient and confident in engaging with vendors on complex issues.

• Daily rate

• Hybrid: 2–3 days onsite in Melbourne (typically Tuesdays & Thursdays)

• Contract: Until March 2026

• Start: ASAP preferred; up to 4 weeks’ notice acceptable for the right candidate
