Job Title: Payroll Advisor
Location: Melbourne CBD + hybrid flexibility (2 days in office)
Salary: VPS5 $69.41 per hour + super
Contract Duration: 3 months

About the Role:

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality payroll services and ensuring timely, accurate pay runs and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing on a fortnightly basis, including generating payroll import spreadsheets and maintaining systems.
- Provide expert advice on salary, leave entitlements, payroll policies, and employee conditions.
- Support the People & Culture and Workplace Relations teams with accurate payroll-related guidance.
- Resolve complex payroll issues autonomously, maintaining up-to-date and accurate payroll data.
- Collaborate on payroll projects and support initiatives to enhance payroll service delivery.
Skills & Experience Required:
- 3-5 years of high-volume payroll experience, including handling terminations and variations.
- Proficient in ADP; experience with Workday and Connect is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of payroll legislation, agreements, and policies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and collaborative mindset.
Screening Requirements:
- Successful applicants will be required to undergo a National Police Check and pre-employment misconduct screening.
