The HR Generalist will provide comprehensive HR support across various functions. This is a hands-on role that requires someone to manage the full employee life cycle, deliver HR projects, and work closely with managers and employees to drive effective people management practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Employee Life-cycle Management: Provide guidance and support to managers and employees across the employee life cycle, including recruitment, on boarding, performance management, and off boarding.
Performance Management: Support managers with performance management processes, including coaching, performance reviews, and development plans, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
Employee Relations: Advise and assist managers and employees in resolving employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and procedures.
HR Projects: Lead and support HR projects, driving initiatives that support the business’s strategic goals, enhance employee engagement, and promote a positive workplace culture.
Policy and Compliance: Ensure all HR activities comply with relevant legislation and internal policies. Update and implement HR policies, ensuring consistency across the business.
Training & Development: Support learning and development initiatives, providing guidance on employee training, career development, and succession planning.
About you:
Experience: Proven experience in a generalist HR role, ideally within the aviation industry(ideal but not necessary), or in large organisations.
Qualifications: Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
HR Knowledge: Solid understanding of HR practices, including employee relations, performance management, recruitment, and training.
HRIS Experience: Familiarity with HR Information Systems (Workday experience is an advantage).
