We are working on behalf of a highly respected public sector organisation, currently seeking an Owners Cost Reporting Specialist for their Sustainable Infrastructure (SI) team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the planning and delivery of major infrastructure projects while supporting the implementation of new ways of working (NWoW).

In this role, you will work closely with senior leaders to provide budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and performance analysis, while driving continuous improvement across capital work programs. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of infrastructure costing experience, a strong background in project accounting, and the ability to partner effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the implementation and ongoing management of NWoW and PDT, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior managers and key stakeholders, providing financial insights to drive informed decision-making.
• Prepare detailed and accurate financial reporting, including variance analysis, cost forecasting, and savings analysis.
• Contribute to continuous process improvements, ensuring finance operations are efficient and aligned with organisational objectives.
• Ensure a focus on safety and wellbeing, fostering a positive, supportive, and safe working environment.

Essential Criteria:

• CA or CPA qualified.
• 5-10 years of infrastructure costing experience, with strong expertise in capital work programs, project accounting, and financial analysis.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with experience in using analytical tools (e.g., Power BI).
• Demonstrated success in business partnering and building strong, collaborative relationships.
• In-depth knowledge of infrastructure assets and the ability to drive financial performance.

Desirable Skills & Experience:

• Significant experience in project accounting.
• Experience with Power BI or other advanced analytical tools.
