Key Responsibilities:
For Project Managers:
Lead and manage projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to define project objectives, requirements, and deliverables.
Provide regular status reports, identifying risks and ensuring the project remains on track.
Manage project resources, including teams, timelines, and budgets.
Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
For PMO Setup Specialist:
Establish and implement a robust Project Management Office (PMO) framework for the federal government agency.
Develop project management processes, templates, and reporting structures to ensure consistent and effective project delivery.
Collaborate with senior leadership to define the strategic direction of the PMO and its alignment with agency goals.
Provide guidance and support to Project Managers on best practices and methodologies.
Key Requirements:
Proven experience in delivering successful projects within a government or large organisational environment.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, PRINCE2).
For PMO Setup Specialist role, experience in establishing and implementing PMOs within complex environments is highly desirable.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high-quality outcomes.
Prior experience in federal government projects or public sector environments is an advantage.
