About the Company:
Our client, a fast-growing removals and logistics company based in Canberra, is currently seeking a motivated and reliable Removalist & Truck Driver to join their dynamic team. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, with the ability to manage both driving responsibilities and physical tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate trucks to transport goods and furniture to and from client locations.
• Assist with the loading, unloading, and packing of goods to ensure their safe transport.
• Ensure all items are handled with care, minimizing the risk of damage.
• Provide excellent customer service during all interactions with clients.
• Complete all necessary paperwork, including delivery logs and inventories.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform basic maintenance checks.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Work as part of a team to ensure timely and efficient service.

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license with the ability to drive heavy vehicles (e.g., MR or HR).
• Previous experience as a truck driver and/or removalist is highly desirable.
• Strong physical fitness and ability to lift heavy items.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Must pass a police check (or willingness to obtain one).
• White Card, Asbestos Awareness Card, and Silica certification required.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
