mechanical fitters/pipe fitters - sydney water project.

We are seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters, Pipe Fitters, and Fabricators with a strong construction/water treatment background for a project based in Kemps Creek. This role is ideal for individuals who have hands-on experience in the construction industry and are looking to apply their skills to a dynamic project. Sydney Water experience is highly desirable but not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform mechanical fitting, pipe fitting, and fabrication tasks on-site as per project requirements
• Install, maintain, and repair mechanical systems and pipework, ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards
• Interpret and work from technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
• Ensure all work complies with relevant regulations, including safety and site protocols
• Collaborate with other trades and team members to meet project goals and deadlines
• Troubleshoot and resolve any mechanical or piping issues on-site
• Carry out routine maintenance and inspections as required

About You:

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter, Pipe Fitter or Fabricator in the construction industry
• Hands-on experience with mechanical systems, equipment installation, and maintenance
• Knowledge of safety procedures and construction site regulations
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Sydney Water experience is desirable but not essential
• Must hold relevant trade qualifications and certifications
• Essential to hold a Working at Heights and EWP Ticket
• Confined Space (desirable)
