Mechanical Fitter – Townsville Region
We are currently seeking a dedicated Mechanical Fitters to join our team in our Townsville workshop. As a key member of our workforce, you will play a vital role in maintaining and servicing machinery and equipment to ensure the smooth operation of our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform mechanical fitting tasks, including maintenance, repairs, and assembly of machinery and equipment.
- Work as part of a team to complete projects within deadlines.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulations.
Essential Criteria:
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical, including a Drug & Alcohol Test.
- Must have a current driver’s license.
- Ability to work Monday to Friday, including overtime as required.
- Must live locally in the Townsville region.
Preferred Criteria:
- Confined Space Ticket (preferred but not essential).
- White Card (preferred).
- Experience in heavy industry (preferred).
- Rail industry experience (preferred but not essential).
