Due to a strong pipeline of projects seeking Mechanical Engineers to join their dynamic engineering team. Reporting to the Principal Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for the design plans, drawings, layouts and procurement of materials and equipment to complete projects, from concept through design, construction, commissioning and final handover.
The role
- Ensure mechanical design for the project meets all project objectives
- Responsible for the detail design of all mechanical systems and subsystems
- Support tender processes and provide basic estimate support
- Procurement of materials and equipment
- Prepare design work to meet engineering specifications and comply with relevant standards
- Customer, contractor and supplier liaison
- Provide support to testing and commissioning activities
To succeed
- A degree qualification in mechanical engineering
- Industrial, heavy industry or power generation experience
- Junior 2+ yrs to senior level mechanical engineering experience in the relevant field
- MS Office
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Reporting writing skills
- Natural initiative and problem solving abilities
- Drivers License
