About the Role: My client is seeking a Mechanical Design Drafter to join our dynamic engineering team. You’ll play a crucial role in implementing EPC projects, working closely with the Principal Mechanical Engineer to prepare design plans, detailed drawings, and technical support for various projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design detailed mechanical systems and subsystems.
- Prepare general arrangement, detailed, isometric, and P&ID drawings, as well as material lists.
- Develop designs and drawings across mechanical, civil, and structural disciplines.
- Collaborate with internal teams, customers, and consulting engineers to execute design works.
- Provide mechanical design support to the Site Manager for installation.
About You:
- Proven experience in industrial turnkey projects.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Plant 3D, or similar high-end database programs.
- Familiarity with NAVISWORKS Simulate and Manage.
- Knowledge of piping, structural steel, and P&ID drawings.
- Open to all experience levels, from junior to senior.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive, with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail, document control, and process application.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Hold a valid driver’s license.
- International applicants must have work rights for Australia.
