Due to a strong pipeline of projects Clarke Energy is seeking a Mechanical Design Drafter to join their dynamic engineering team, for the implementation of projects within the EPC business unit. Reporting to the Principal Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for the preparation of design plans, detailed drawings and technical interface on project.
Key duties
- Responsible for the detailed design of all mechanical systems and subsystems.
- Preparation of general arrangement, detail, isometric, and P&ID drawings, and material lists
- Prepare designs and drawings covering mechanical, civil, and structural disciplines.
- Communicating internal employees, customer, and consulting engineers to carry out design works.
- Provide mechanical design support to Site Manager for installation.
About you
- Demonstrated industry experience with sound knowledge of industrial turnkey projects
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Plant 3D or similar highend database programs
- NAVISWORKS Simulate and Manage
- Familiar with piping, structural steel, and P&ID drawings
- All levels of experience junior to senior
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Initiative and problem solving ability
- Attention to detail, document control, and application of processes
- Computer literate: Microsoft Suite
- SA Drivers License
- international applicants must hold work rights for Australia
