Are you a marketing professional with a passion for live entertainment? We’re looking for a Marketing & Audience Development Officer to join a Newcastle-based Government agency on a 6-month contract. This role is ideal for someone with experience in digital marketing, campaign management particularly in the Arts or retail sector.

What’s involved?

• Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns to promote live performances and maximise ticket sales
• Manage digital and print marketing, including advertising, social media, website content, and email campaigns
• Create compelling promotional materials, including graphic design, digital content, and EDMs
• Act as the primary marketing contact for venue hirers, advising on promotional strategies and audience targeting
• Analyse audience trends and campaign performance to optimise marketing strategies
• Manage digital presence, including website updates and content for social media and venue screens

What do we need from you?

• Degree in Marketing or related field
• Proven experience in marketing and campaign management
• Strong copywriting, content creation, and digital marketing skills
• Proficiency in social media management, website content creation, and design tools
• Ability to interpret data and market trends to drive engagement
  
• Proficiency in Content Management Systems (CMS)
• Strong communication skills and experience with stakeholder management
• Experience across live performance, arts, or retail industries is highly desirable!
