Manager Contracts Services (ASO8)
SA Health has one of the largest procurement and contracts management teams in South Australia. The department continues to lead the way in innovative supply chain and contracting practices. Procurement, Supply Chain and Finance (PSCF) is a business unit within SA Health and is central to SA Health's ability to deliver high quality health care services.
Randstad is working exclusively with SA Health and PSCF to recruit a Manager Contracts Services (ASO8). You will lead a team of passionate professionals. This leadership role reports directly to the Chief Procurement Officer, and will be responsible for the strategic contract management of statewide services, and the management of a major Public Private Partnership (PPP) contract within a complex health environment.
Your new role will involve:
- Managing a diverse contracts portfolio that includes both the highly complex PPP Agreement and various statewide service contracts.
- Leading a multidisciplinary contract management team to ensure statewide alignment with best practices, performance monitoring, and contract lifecycle management.
- Driving continuous improvement through data-driven decision-making, strategic risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
- Development and application of best practice policies, procedures and processes in contract management to support the nRAH PPP contract and statewide services.
- Providing advice to facilitate consistent application and interpretation of the PPP Agreement.
- Driving contract performance through negotiation and supplier management, ensuring value for money and the best possible outcomes for the state.
Key requirements:
- Demonstrated leadership of professional teams, with a focus on providing constructive feedback, recognizing achievements, and maintaining a high-performance culture.
- Proven ability to oversee a portfolio of complex, high-value contracts, leveraging knowledge of diverse contracting models, terms and conditions, and pricing mechanisms. (PPP experience not required but highly regarded.)
- Skilled in navigating commercial and legal dimensions of complex contracts, including drafting, negotiation, strategic advice, and performance monitoring. While a strong legal understanding is essential, you will have access to legal support as needed.
- Outcome-focused management style, driven by the pursuit of value for money and exceptional contract performance.
