About the Role

Are you a finance professional with a passion for driving financial success in large-scale infrastructure projects? We’re seeking a Management Accountant – Labour Specialist to partner with a leading Government organisation to enhance financial processes, optimise labour costing, and support sustainable infrastructure delivery across the state.

This role plays a critical part in financial planning, reporting, and process improvement, with a strong focus on labour and contract workforce management across operational and capital expenditure.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage overhead models to improve financial performance
• Provide detailed and accurate labour and contract workforce costing analysis
• Deliver accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting for key stakeholders
• Partner with business leaders to drive efficiency and financial transparency
• Support workforce planning, business cases, and structural changes
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimisation

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in Accounting, Business, or equivalent experience (CA or CPA qualification required)
• Extensive experience in capital accounting and infrastructure asset management
• Strong skills in financial modelling, reporting, and analysis (Excel & Power BI preferred)
• Proven ability to build relationships and provide strategic financial insights
• A proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic environment
