About the Role:
As a Concrete batcher, you will support the day-to-day operations of our Concrete Production Site, focusing on three key areas of responsibility:
1. Sales Administration:
- Provide exceptional phone-based customer service.
- Take orders and finalise sales of pre-mixed concrete for delivery.
2. Allocation and Scheduling:
- Use our computerized systems to allocate and schedule jobs.
- Manage rostering and truck movements for the plant/region.
- Batch concrete to specific mix designs via our computerized system.
3. General Duties:
- Order raw materials as needed.
- Perform general housekeeping and plant maintenance.
- Operate Front End Loaders and Forklifts.
Qualifications:
- A willingness to learn new skills.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- A focus on safety.
- Reliable work ethic and flexibility with start and finish times.
- Basic computer skills.
- General labouring skills
- Loader ticket (preferred)
- Ability to work Saturday mornings if required.
