Role: We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor to manage and optimize our client's distribution operations in Banyo, QLD. This is a key role with the opportunity to make a significant impact on efficiency and customer satisfaction. You will lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, driving operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate, and develop a combined team of warehouse staff, delivery drivers, and customer service representatives.
- Optimize delivery schedules, routes, and load planning to maximize efficiency and reduce costs.
- Manage the full spectrum of stock control, including inwards/outwards goods, inventory management, SLOB reporting, and reverse logistics.
- Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing OH&S compliance and conducting regular audits.
- Utilize ERP systems (MS Office/Dynamics 365) to create sales and transfer orders, manage inventory, and track deliveries.
- Streamline warehouse operations, including stocktakes, organization, and the management of warranties and damaged stock.
- Drive continuous improvement in distribution procedures and processes.
- Act as a key point of contact for internal and external customers and suppliers, building strong relationships.
- Oversee vehicle and equipment maintenance to ensure operational readiness.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience: 5+ years in warehouse, logistics, and distribution management with direct report responsibilities AND 12+ months in a warehouse supervisory role.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a focus on team development and achieving results.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (experience with Dynamics 365 is highly advantageous).
- Valid forklift and unrestricted driver's license.
- Solid knowledge of OH&S legislation.
Desirable:
- MR Truck License
- Supply chain qualifications.
- Experience in the automotive industry or with Dangerous Goods.
- First Aid and Return to Work coordination experience.
