Expression of Interest – Aged Care Lifestyle Coordinators

Are you passionate about enhancing the wellbeing of older Australians? We’re seeking an expression of interest for experienced Lifestyle Coordinators across Queensland.

About the Role

As a Lifestyle Coordinator, you will develop and lead person-centred lifestyle programs that support residents’ physical, emotional, and social wellbeing. You’ll work closely with facility managers, clinical teams, families, and key stakeholders to create engaging activities that foster connection, purpose, and community involvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement diverse social, therapy, and recreational programs.
• Lead and supervise social care staff and volunteers.
• Foster community engagement with local groups, schools, and organisations.
• Organise special events, outings, and themed celebrations.
• Maintain accurate records, monitor participation, and evaluate program impact.
• Align activities with residents’ care plans and individual preferences.
• Manage budgets and resources effectively.
• Ensure compliance with aged care regulations and quality standards.

Requirements

• Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle or related qualification
• Australian Working Rights
• Experience as a Lifestyle Coordinator or similar role in aged care
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of aged care regulations, quality standards, and AN-ACC
• Proficient in computer systems and electronic care management
• Current National Police Check and Drivers License
• First Aid Certificate
