About the Role
As Leasing Manager, you will play a vital role in whole-of-government lease procurement and management. Your responsibilities will encompass financial and tenancy management, contributing to regional policy development, and aligning leased asset supply with the Strategic Portfolio Plan. This is a high-impact role requiring strong leadership and collaborative skills.

... - Oversee leasing projects and provide office accommodation solutions.
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of leased assets across the state government portfolio.
- Provide expert lease management advice to multi-disciplinary teams.
- Develop and implement best-practice policies and guidelines for lease procurement and management.
- Negotiate leases and manage a substantial portfolio of leased buildings.
- Provide insightful market analysis and trend reports to support strategic decision-making.
- Represent the department in internal and external meetings and forums.
- Prepare comprehensive reports, briefing notes, and financial information.
- Maintain and enhance lease management, tenancy, and financial systems.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with stakeholders across multiple departments and industry organizations.
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven expertise in lease procurement and management, including financial and tenancy aspects.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities effectively.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with a demonstrable ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong collaborative skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Property Economics are highly desirable.
- Current Open Class C Driver's Licence (or equivalent).
- Successful criminal history check (prior to commencement).
- Eligibility to work in Australia.

They will display initiative, attention to detail, and have the ability to work autonomously and unsupervised whilst contributing to the wider team's objectives of ensuring service delivery exceeds expectations.
