Key Duties:
- Leading a civil construction team on small to medium sized projects
- Reading site plans & designs
- Setting out according to plans
- Operation of excavators, bobcats and other mobile plant
- Involvement in safety initiatives including pre-starts, toolboxes and incident reporting.
Experience / Skills Required:
- Over 5 years of civil construction experience
- Previous leadership experience
- Excavator (final trim) experience is essential
- Maintain clear & effective communication with the project manager, team & stakeholders
- Sound knowledge of safety practices, regulations & risk management procedures
