About the Position:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Lead Engineer to join our client's Brisbane office. This role focuses on power distribution design, including overhead lines and underground cable projects up to 66kV.

As the Lead Engineer, you will be instrumental in strengthening relationships with Queensland Network Service Providers while driving team growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialist engineering design and advice for power distribution, including overhead lines and underground cable projects up to 66kV.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Queensland Network Service Providers.
• Communicate effectively with clients, electrical authorities, project stakeholders, and internal teams.
• Ensure quality assurance of high-standard design drawings delivered to clients.
• Use specialised design software, including tools for overhead lines (e.g., Neara, nPoles, Poles n Wires, AutoCAD) and underground networks (e.g., LV Design, LVDrop).
• Develop strategic plans for team expansion and assist in recruiting skilled professionals.

To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Have:

• A minimum of 7 years of post-graduate engineering experience in a relevant field.
• Expertise in power distribution design, including both overhead and underground projects.
• Confidence in client and stakeholder communication.
• Proficiency in relevant design software for overhead and underground systems.
• Unrestricted Australian working rights.
