Junior Data Analyst:
Our Geelong based client is looking for a Junior Data Analyst. The organization is a government agency that supports individuals with disabilities, providing funding and services to help them achieve greater independence and participate fully in the community. It works to ensure that people with disabilities have access to necessary care, therapy, and assistance, while promoting choice and control over their own lives. The agency collaborates with a range of service providers, helping individuals create personalized plans to meet their unique needs and goals.

Some key responsibilities:
... - Responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data from multiple sources.
- Transforming raw data into structured formats suitable for analysis.
- Applying statistical methods to analyze results and draw insights.
- Identifying patterns and trends within datasets.
- Developing new processes for data collection and analysis.
- Preparing reports and visualizing data through tools such as Excel and Visio.
- Supporting data-driven decision-making within the business.
- Managing databases and data systems to maintain data accuracy and integrity.
- Ensuring the quality and reliability of data.
- Addressing issues related to data management identified through regular audits.
- Strong communication skills for conveying data insights effectively.
- Managing the team’s email inbox, calendars, and appointments, ensuring alignment with team priorities and deadlines.
- Conducting research and responding to general inquiries, as well as analyzing documents and data.
- Coordinating and preparing meeting agendas, minutes, and related materials.
- Assisting in drafting written communications and managing documents and databases.
- Organizing travel arrangements and handling finance reconciliation.
- Contributing to project management tasks as assigned, supporting the successful delivery of work priorities.
To succeed in this position you will have:
- Bachelor’s Degree (or working towards) in IT, Data, Analytics, Business or similar
- Strong experience in administration and working with cross functional teams
- Exceptional communication skills
- Exposure to working with and analysing data
