An opportunity has arisen for an experienced L1/2 Desktop Support Technician to join a fast growing MSP. This 6 month contract role will be based in the Newcastle region.
About the role
- Providing Level 1/2 technical support across all areas of the business
- Field incoming requests to the Help Desk via telephone, tickets and email to ensure courteous, timely and effective resolution of end user issues
- Assist with the installation, configuration and testing of new and existing hardware and software
- Experience with Microsoft desktop environment, Active Directory and M365 Administration
About you
- Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining desktop operating systems and software
- Strong understanding of desktop hardware components and troubleshooting
- Current drivers licence and car
- Must have hands on experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing system
- Strong customer service skills with a can do attitude
