We are seeking a hands-on IT Manager to lead our client's IT department. This is a permanent role. The client is looking to bring some of their IT capabilities in-house and this role is responsible for ensuring smooth IT operations, high-quality support, and strategic IT initiatives to meet business needs. You will be supporting 8 locations in NSW and 9 locations in VIC. In addition to this, you will have a car, limited fuel and phone allowances, please note you will not be required to drive to the sites only the head office which is located in Mulgrave.
Salary: $130,000 including super
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day IT operations, ensuring seamless business support
- Develop and implement IT service management processes to enhance efficiency
- Budgeting, forecasting, and planning for future IT service needs
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and partners
- Monitor and report on IT systems performance, taking preventative and corrective action
- Implement and comply with corporate IT policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and IT security standards
- Oversee cyber security systems and policies to protect company assets
- Provide hardware and software support across NSW, VIC, and remote/WFH staff
- Maintain WAN and LAN connections, company email, on-site servers, NAS, and UPS hardware
- Manage user access rights, asset registers, and IT documentation
- Ensure backups of on-site and cloud-hosted company data
- Support call center platforms and other industry specific systems used
Key Requirements:
- Minimum three years’ experience in a similar IT management role in a small/medium sized environment
- Must still be hands on and willing to learn new technologies/systems
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in IT project management
- Proficiency in Windows Server, VMware, and Microsoft 365
