Are you detail-oriented with a passion for optimizing inventory management? We are seeking a dedicated Supply Chain Officer to support our client’s purchasing division to ensure it runs smoothly and efficiently.
About The Company

About the Role
A Temp to Perm opportunity for a supply chain officer who can place and manage purchase orders to ensure inventory gaps are identified and communicated to relevant stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Place and manage purchase orders to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Identify and communicate inventory gaps to relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and ensure timely delivery.
- Monitor market trends and adjust purchasing strategies accordingly.
- Assist in the implementation of new products as part of any growth strategy
- Assist in the preparation and execution of regular cycle counts
- Assist with and work on cost saving plans in the reduction of aged stock (SLOB SLow and OBsolete)
The Successful Applicant will demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
- Proven experience in inventory management or purchasing.
- Software experience: Intermediate Excel, SAP/ ERP experience essential
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
