Infrastructure Engineer - Permanent - Sydney - Must be Australian Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident currently
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join an Australian Financial Service business based in Sydney in a permanent role. As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will be a key member of the team, working with the Lead Infrastructure Engineer and other team members supporting stakeholders across the business units and support functions, solving for their varied needs.
About the role
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for server infrastructure, including Active Directory / Domain Controller, Citrix ADC, SQL Server, Entra,ID, Follow-Me Print, physical and virtual hardware support.
- Maintenance of all server infrastructure, including system upgrades, patch management, hardware replacement, and software installations.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including standard operating procedures, support guides, and business continuity plans.
About you
- Experience in L3 infrastructure roles. Financial markets / Investment Banking experience strongly preferred.
- Extensive experience with Active Directory, including Group Policy, Sites and Services, Certification Authority and interacting with AD and other services via PowerShell.
- Experience designing, implementing, and securing hybrid cloud environments.
- Extensive experience with Windows server, Entra ID and M365, Citrix virtual desktop, Intune (for Windows endpoints and mobile MDM), App packaging, SCCM OS deployment a must.
