Key Responsibilities:

• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Fortinet firewalls, ensuring robust security policies are in place. Regularly review and update firewall rules to align with best practices and evolving security threats.
• Implement and optimize SD-WAN solutions to enhance network performance, reduce latency, and ensure seamless connectivity between branch offices and data centres.
• Develop and enforce network security protocols, including intrusion detection/prevention, secure VPNs, and encryption, to protect against cyber threats. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technology issues reported by users promptly.
• Analyse problems thoroughly to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
• Familiarity with cloud-based networking solutions (Azure, AWS) and hybrid network environments, including secure connectivity between on-premises and cloud resources.
• Strong scripting and automation skills using tools like PowerShell.

• ITIL Foundations
• Understanding of enterprise networking, core networking skills, working with different storage platforms, firewalls, load balancing.
• Stakeholder engagement - so priortizing your tasks in a complex network environment and dealing with different individuals internally within the organisation.

• Knowledge of M365, Zabbix and Nutanix.
• Proficient in networking and security best practices, essential 8.
• Understanding of web server management and encryption techniques.
