Information Strategy Lead Opportunity

Contract opportunity available to join this Department as an Information Strategy Lead and play a key role in driving strategic initiatives that enhance information governance, uplift Information Management culture, and align with contemporary ICT solutions.

This is an opportunity to work with multi-disciplinary teams using a PRINCE2 project management approach to deliver transformational outcomes.

What You Will Do:

• Drive the planning, coordination, and delivery of key Information Management Program initiatives, ensuring they meet agreed outcomes and schedules.
• Uplift governance capabilities, including operationalising roles like Information Stewards and maturing lifecycle management practices.
• Oversee the creation and refinement of information governance policies, standards, and procedures.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to align policies, processes, and people strategically.
• Contribute to updating the Information Management Strategy and Roadmap, including managing supplier engagements and producing key artefacts.

What You Need to Apply for This Role:

• Minimum 5 years in a strategic role within enterprise-level Information Management programs, particularly in large, complex environments.
• Demonstrated ability to develop tailored strategies and frameworks for Government or similar regulatory settings.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a knack for building effective relationships and consensus across diverse stakeholders.
• Thrive under pressure in a changing environment, juggling multiple priorities effectively.
• Proven ability to liaise with internal teams and external partners to ensure strategic alignment.
