The Information Management Specialist will be responsible for the following deliverables:
- Consult with key business areas to further develop and implement department's centralised taxonomy (which includes development of associated products).
- Evaluate the department's business systems against the Australian Government’s compliance framework.
- Support the development and review of policies and frameworks that support the department’s information management strategy.
The successful candidate must have:
- Relevant experience and understanding of contemporary information and knowledge management practices and principles in a government context.
- Experience with the implementation of a new information management product or service across an organisation (which includes change and project management considerations and the development of associated planning and reporting products).
- Experience in supporting the development and review of enterprise-wide policies and frameworks related to information management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships to resolve complex issues.
