With exciting growth on the horizon, we’re looking for a skilled industrial electrician with expertise in mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic maintenance. Joining a small maintenance team in Milperra, You’ll work on a wide range of equipment, from cardboard compactors and crushers to balers, trailers, and large facilities.
About the Role
You will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment that power waste management and recycling facilities. Your expertise will directly contribute to the smooth operation of essential systems that support environmental sustainability.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting on machinery and control systems at customer sites.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults in waste processing equipment, including balers, shredders, compactors, and sorting machinery.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and any recommendations for improvement or upgrades.
- Work closely with the maintenance team to develop solutions for complex electrical problems.
About You
- Certificate III Electrotechnology
- Experience with mechanical or hydraulic systems, PLC's, or control systems
- Good communication skills
- Proven problem-solving skills and time management skills.
- Has the ability to work autonomously
- Australian driver’s license with a clean driving history.
- Must be comfortable completing a pre-employment medical including drug & alcohol test
