We’re supporting a large national retail program focused on uplifting store technology across a broad network. This includes full-scale implementation of new POS systems, network infrastructure, cabling, and in-store readiness activities.
We’re looking for a capable Implementation Lead to manage technical store deployments from planning through to go-live, ensuring each site is ready and operational on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead store-level rollout of POS, network infrastructure, cabling, and other in-store technologies
Manage vendor coordination, including Telstra and other third parties, to ensure timely delivery
Create and manage detailed store sequencing and scheduling plans
Conduct technical readiness checks to ensure each site is deployment-ready
Work closely with store operations, field teams, and tech leads to align on timelines and requirements
Attend store sites when required to support implementation and issue resolution
Oversee successful handover into business-as-usual (BAU) operations
What You Bring:
Proven experience managing store-level implementations across a retail network
Strong understanding of in-store technology including POS, networking, and cabling
Confident working with telcos, hardware vendors, and external tech partners
Exceptional planning and scheduling skills with high attention to detail
Comfortable working both onsite and remotely, with occasional travel to stores
Retail background is essential – you’ve delivered in-store readiness before
